a local was spotted. Making itself at home in a fledgling gum tree.

All the fuss of being a film star was not to this koala's liking.

So off it ambled . . . to find a bigger tree.

update:
I lost enthusiasm for this after I'd downloaded the blurb program and slurped the blog to start creating the book. Their promos say the blog slurper brought comments across too, for publication in the book. It did not. And when I complained and said their video was false advertising, they offered no apology. In my mind, a big part of the journey for us was the online community created. To lose that in translation from blog to book was most unsatisfactory. I still went ahead with the book because we wanted a hardcopy of photos, journal entries etc for our own records.
